obviously i didn't go alone. i went together with a friend of mine with her boyfriend. believe it or not, it was so hard to get there even though it is not. either we miss the tram just like a millisecond, or we weren't sure that was the tram to get on which yea, it was that one and we missed it, and so much more. it was like a sign from God saying, I am not gonna let you go there. or something like that. anyway, we FINALLY got a tram there and as we arrived we were entertained by a fire show. it was close to the crown casino and at the Yarra River bank. the fire was spectacular and damn hot! i try to remember not to stand so close to them. so after a few photo shots with the fire, we FINALLY got inside the crown casino.
at least, I did get to go inside. my friend was stopped and asked for her identification because she looks too young to be in the casino! lucky her! and mind you, she is older than i am, so that is saying something. anyways, as we got in, there were lots and lots of slot machines everywhere. i mean honestly, a lot of them. and of course there were tables for roulettes, blackjacks and the one i called "wheel of money" cause i don't know the name of that game. moving on, you know i thought, you need lots of money to play in casino, but not really. the one in blackjack, there are tables where you can bets only $2.50 or $5 and so on. yea, i know. if you keep playing it will pile up, right?
we were walking around and see other people played all these games. for me, it was kinda of interesting and terrifying at the same time. interesting because i know in some games, i can do very well (like wheel of money), because i know i am somewhat good in guessing and not to be brag, but when it involve lucky draw or money or something like that, i am USUALLY lucky. so yea, if i won, it would be damn awesome but terrifying because it can become addictive and not to mention all the money gone just like that if i lose all of them. rather than lose the money on gambling, i rather spend it on food and pay the bills. that is my no 1 priority right now.
anyways, after an hour or so, we decided to go back to the city to get some snack or supper so we stopped at Lord of the Fries. Yummy! it was quite a queue. after we got our fries, we sat down at the tram stop bench and as we start eating, we were talking among ourselves. it was really great. my friend and her boyfriend have so much funny story to tell and by the end of the day i can't stop smiling.
it was such a great night tonight. i think going to the casino was really fun but the best part was definitely when all 3 of us sat down and start munching all the fries and sharing all the funny stories. i hope all 3 of us can do that again some other time. thanks for the wonderful night tonight!
