Flitter is actually a party for singles where it will held a dating game which instead of meeting and talk face to face, you will either use your BlackBerrys or iPhones and start flirting to anyone in the party through Twitter. Each participants have numbers on them and there is a giant screen inside the place where the "tweets" are broadcasted. recently it was held in Vancouver, Canada and surprisingly it was quite overwhelming. some of the participants admit that Flitter is actually a good way of meeting people especially to the shy people.
honestly, i don't quite understand how it works but i all i know is that in the end, you can sign off your number and meet the tweeter if he/she is interested. if you don't want to meet that is fine too. you can also send a message and/or compliment to anyone.
i have to admit, it is very interesting. even though there are people who against it, but i think it is a great idea. shy people like me(hehehehe.....) finds it hard to approach people, so by using Twitter to break the ice, it helps a lot. i wonder if there is any Flitter party here in Melbourne? i would love to go and see how it works. but of course, i have to ask "certain someone" if i can go though. =P
