it's a sad sad world

for some reason, i feel like there is no good news at all in this world right now. everyday you hear the news of people dying or dead either because of they were killed or destroyed by mother nature just like in Haiti earthquake.

every single day when i open the news page, i will see someone stab another, a teenager shot his schoolmates, a father tosses his child into a river, a mother put her child in a microwave and etc. what has this world turn into? what happen to all these humans, us? how can someone so easily kill someone without any hesitation, any doubt and no fear?  everytime i read these news, i always felt sick on my stomach and always fear for my life. i always think that i might get killed when i step out from my house(still doesn't stop me from coming home at midnight though).

you know what makes all this even more worst, as the time goes by, as we get more educated, more technologically advanced, i noticed that all of us, especially in Western world(Eastern are catching up fast too), that our moral as a human being has not improved at all. furthermore, i think we are more moral-less as time goes further ahead. not saying that i am a high moral person, but i still can distinguish what is right and wrong and what's good and bad for me. that is why i said its very sad. we all thought as time goes by we be more civilized people, but i guess not.

let's talk about world's news nowadays, the news are usually involve with the power struggle. its all about politics. the government is not doing a good enough job, this politician is corrupt, this party just making false promises and etc. instead of pointing fingers on people's fault, isn't it better to work TOGETHER to make a country a better place to live in for the people? instead of thinking of of pocketing money into your own, think of other people who look up to you, who trust you on helping them to live a better life. it is unthinkable if the reason for you to become a politician in the first place is because of the money and power you will get instead of the sense of accomplishment you will get in helping others. if all politicians are like that, then i guess there is no future for any country at all. that is so sad.

i wonder how future will be in 10 years from now? is it gonna get any better or much worst then it already is? only time will tell i guess.
