what's with the double standard?

why is it okay for a guy to have 3 girlfriends and it is not when a woman do that? huh? tell me why???

this is actually a story i got from a friend of mine where her boyfriend ( at that time), was actually 3 timing her. she doesn't know this at all because not one of his friends told her anything. when she broke up with him, then one of his friends finally told her the truth that he was 3 timing her and all his friends were actually okay with it. not just that, they actually encouraged him to find as many girlfriends as he can because one of his stupid friends reasons was, with many girlfriends he will have more option to choose and it will save him time from finding another girlfriend if a girl dump him.

anyways, when they were still together, a friend of mine was close with a male friend, where they always call/text most of the time. but rarely go out together. and her boyfriend knew about it, but when he found out that one day she went out with the guy, he was totally flipped out! (and mind you at this time he was 3 timing her!) he was so upset with my friend and told everything to his friends about it and even some of them called my friend a slut. how dare they called her a slut when all she did was gone out with her close friend while her boyfriend 3 timing her all the time?

since when is it okay for a guy to have 3 or more women at the same time and woman can't? how come guys are okay when one of their friends 2 timing their girlfriends, but start calling their friend's girlfriends slut or whore or bitch when she is close to a guy? how can it be so double standard!

even though i am talking about double standard, that doesn't mean i approve it in any way. if you wanna be with someone, you should stick to it and focus 100 percent to make the relationship works. if you think it won't work, then have a clean break and start over with a new person.

and don't give me shit like it's hard to find someone new. of course, it is hard. nothing comes easy in this world. the harder for you to get something, the greater your satisfaction will be when you achieve it.

for once, be an honest man and start thinking with your brain instead of your hormones.
