today or is it yesterday since its already past midnight, anyway, i really had a great time! for the first time after a year and half, i got to see my old school friends again. i have to admit, i felt a little bit nostalgic and almost wanna cry but it was so awesome i didn't even get the chance to cry.
but honestly today didn't go so well though. the plan was to meet at Rengit Cafe in Carrefour at 3pm but since i had some other business to do, i went out early. but i didn't go to the meeting place though. i went to Summit Parade where i can fix my glasses since that's the place where i got these glasses. anyways, the girl there told me it will take at least one hour for my glasses to be finished. so i decided to hang around the book store and get something to read to pass my time. as i went up slowly ( since my feet still not fully healed), bumped on several people, finally reached Popular Bookstore. to be honest, there's not much books in there compare to MPH or Kinokuniya back in KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. but hey, beggars can't be choosers, right? but then i noticed that ALL the books in fiction section has been wrapped in plastic. and i'm serious. ALL of them. and when i asked them if i can take the plastic off for a little bit of light reading, they said no and i was arguing with those people and said, "the government encourages people to read more and you are not even helping that campaign. how do you expect people to read if you keep them all wrapped up like Christmas presents? how do you expect people to be at least be interested in reading if you won't let them take a peek?" seriously, im serious. i was really upset. so since they still insisted saying no, i just said, fine and take off. so i pretty much just sit around and wait for my glasses to be done.
after my glasses were done, i asked for the receipt. and the girl there said that she didn't know how to use the receipt machine. i was like, are you kidding me? you work there and you don't know how to use that machine? and since i insisted on receipt, she called another employee who isn't working today and asked him how to run the machine and it took her 20 MINUTES to get the bloody machine to produce a receipt. seriously! i was like i'm rushing here. can you get any faster please? alright, after finished with the receipt and then i had to take a cab to Carrefour to meet my friends. but then i called my friend, Raja Fatim and found out that the meeting place has changed to Rengit Cafe in BP Mall and not Carrefour. i was like...now.... she tells me. then i have to wait like 10 minutes to get a cab which is very stressful because the weather is sooooo hot. seriously, is it. anyways, i managed to grab a cab and went to BP Mall as fast as lightning speed. or something like that.
and finally! i reached the destination. i called my friend, Raja, again and she just arrived and in a few minutes i spotted her and i screamed my head off! it was very cool. and then both of us went inside the cafe and we spotted another friend of ours, Jannah a.k.a Yoy, and i screamed again. hahahaha.... after we chatted and exchanged our greetings, another friend arrived. Yus. it was only the 4 of us. it was really really fun. we laughed, we laughed really hard, screamed a little bit, serious talks and so much more but mostly laughing out heads off like a couple of teenage girls. it was really great. just like what the doctor orders. after talking and laughing for couple of hours, Yoy, decided to leave because she has work to do. after that just left the 3 of us, Raja, Yus and me. then all 3 of us decided to watched a movie together. at first we all wanna watched 'Kick-Ass' movie but we missed like half and hour of it already. so then we choose the next best thing. a movie called 'The Crazies'. OhMyGod! seriously, if i know the movie is such horrific, i wouldn't want to watch it in the first place. there's blood everywhere, stab here and there, shooting randomly and so much more. just death and violence. most of my time in there just closing my eyes and ears because i couldn't take it. i'm gonna get nightmares tonight. i just know it. well, after the movie, all of us decided to go home. and since i dun have a ride, Yus volunteered to take me home.
even though today didn't go so well for me but in the end, i had a great time. and tomorrow or today, i'm sure i'm gonna have fun again since i'm gonna see you guys one more time. it's good to know that something never change.
