Invictus

there is one poem that i really like. even though i am still figuring out what it means. i think i do know it by now but i'm not sure. but in all those lines, there are only two lines that really stuck with me all this time. from the first time i heard it like couple of years ago, it stayed with me. i guess in a way it does means something. it is the last two lines from a poem from William Earnest Henley 1849 - 1903, Invictus,

' i am the master of my fate

i am the captain of my soul'

so in short, only i can determine how my life goes. only i can decide how and what to do with my life. so in conclusion, if i want something to happen, only i can make it happen. let's just hope, i'm up for it. if not, i seriously don;t want to think about it.
