okay, first, let's watch the video shall we:
okay, at first glance, what do you think of the commercial? for me, i seriously have no problem with the commercial whatsoever. except thinking,'damn, that guys is so gorgeous n extremely cute!' but seriously, i would never thought that people take this ad so seriously. i was reading all the comments that people wrote, wow, you wouldn't believe some of these people are saying. there are like pro gays and anti gays stabbing each other trying to prove that they are all in the right side.
after reading like hundreds of them, i decided i had enough and said, " it is kinda disturbing to see that how people are condemning other people for voicing out their opinions. everybody is entitled to their own opinions. as for me, i don't support gays but i believe they should be respected as human beings because they are flesh and blood like everyone of us. as long as they are happy with their life and their chosen lifestyle, then i am happy for them as well." honestly, why people are so bothered about it? everyone is different and have their own opinions. besides, you can't fight fire with fire. if you keep saying rude things to one another, its like adding fire/gasoline to already wild fire. for me, i always believe in soft approach. if they can't accept your opinion, then so be it. i of course would educate them first and tell them my point and if they are unwilling to listen, then it's their problem for being ignorant fool. you don't need to be rude to each other to proof your point.
after that, i got a reply to my comment from another YouTube user called him/herself sea667 and he/she said," hate is not an opinion and is not an appropriate trait either. to voice hate against another humans is not conducive with building a strong global community and people need to discard their fears if we are to overcome challenges worth our time." i agree. but unfortunately as humans we are always afraid of the unknown or if something is strange to us. fear will always be there. that is why, being rude will not help people to understand or tackle the issue better. like i said earlier, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if they hate it, they hate it. there's nothing you can do about it. you can try and change his/her mind, which is always a good idea. but to try and change their mind by being rude to them is never an option. it will only proof to them that you are no better at all. if you need to earn respect for others, first you must respect other people. and no, you can't say if they don't respect you, then you don't need to respect them. that is selfish. if you want to win their hearts, you need to show them why. by gaining their respect by showing that you are civilized enough , i think is a good start.
i know most of you people wouldn't agree but i honestly think that anyone can say whatever they want to say. everyone has their own minds and opinions and they are entitled to say whatever they want. if someone hate and/or fear gays, then its their own problems. its not yours. if you want your rights to be heard, then, be my guess and say it out loud. but you don;t need to be rude to other people just to say that you are right. that is wrong. if you wanna proof your point that you are right, then show an example. that would shut them all up.
